Message from the President

ROY MOTES founded Tillman & company, Inc. in 1974 with the vision that a company could provide the highest level of service and the greatest value for the insurance dollar which always places the clients’ needs first.

In 1987, Roy retired and I acquired the company. Today, following more than two decades of exceptional growth, I am proud of how far we have come. Tillman & Company, Inc., is now the source of expertise for a wide range of services that includes employee benefits, property and casualty insurance, pensions, profit sharing plans, 401 (k) plans, voluntary and flexible benefits, and estate and business life insurance planning.

The most important aspect of Tillman’s growth is that we have never lost sight of our fundamental goal – to provide value to our clients. Every employee is dedicated to achieving this goal. As our staff and client base have expanded, we have continually improved our ability to serve the diverse needs of our customers.

Tillman’s reputation as one of the region’s most prominent insurance brokerage and consulting firms is a direct result of our enduring corporate philosophy: The client comes first.
